My name is Misty Deanna Smith. My mom named me after her friends in Texas. Tarrant County, Texas is where I was born. I only lived in Texas for a short period of time, one year to be exact, so I do not, in fact have the Texan accent. After moving from Texas we (my mom, two other siblings, and myself) came to South Carolina where I have lived for the past seventeen years. I have, however, moved around while in the good ol' S.C. The first stop is Greenville, this is where my mom got back together with my stepfather. We lived in Greenville for two years until moving to Pelzer for an additional four years. Then we finally settled in Belton, where I have lived for eleven years now.
Family is an important aspect in my life, even if I don't get along with them half the time. I have no idea who my biological father is, so it's safe to say it bothers me. Knowing I will never meet the other half responsible of my existence bothers me too.
I guess I'm just trying to connect the dots...
